The Praetor 500 is a mid-size business jet that first entered service in 2019 and is part of the current offering from Embraer Executive Jets. Praetor 500 is the next evolution of the Legacy 450, offering greater range. Current Legacy 450 aircraft are able to be modified with the Praetor 500 changes in later 2019 early 2020 through an STC. The Praetor 500 is powered by two HTF7500E engines producing 6,540 lbf each, allowing the Praetor to carry 4 passengers an NBAA IFR range of 3,250 nm, with a max cruise speed of 462 knots. The Praetor 500 offers seating for up to 9 passengers in the pressurized cabin with its aft lav. Like the Legacy 450 the Praetor 500 is operated by a crew of 2, and features the Pro Line Fusion in the cockpit.
